24 Sports Legends warmly welcomes all teams participating in the first edition of the "1st World Legends Basketball Tournament +40", which will be held in May of 2019.

 

In our Tournament will participate teams from different parts of the world and will stand out for having an excellent sporting level, as well as a great organization.

 

THE TOURNAMENT.

 

Eight teams will participate.

 

The participants will be divided into 2 groups of 4 teams each (Group A and Group B), which will all play against each other.

 

The 1st and 2nd of each group will qualify for the semifinals and the 3rd and 4th of each group will qualify to play from 5th to 8th place.

 

The semifinals will be played: 1°A vs 2°B and 1°B vs 2°A, with the winners of each semifinal reaching the finals, while the losers will play for 3rd and 4th place.

 

The teams that have finished in 3rd and 4th place will play: 3°A vs 4°B and 3°B vs 4°A, playing for 5th and 6th place, the winners and, for 7th and 8th place, the losers.

 

All teams will play a total of 5 games in 5 days.

 

The championship will have a total of 20 games.

 

AGE CATEGORY.

 

All teams may be made up of players aged 40 and over (For the record, players aged 40 and over may play) and only one player aged 39 and over per team will be authorised.

 

OF THE TEAMS BY COUNTRY

 

It is clarified that the championship is not of national selections, is of teams or clubs, so it will be evaluated to accept more than one team per country.
